The Caley invited the Help Yourself Grow 2017-2018 Grow and Learn award recipients to Greenbank Gardens to receive their pin badges. The group arrived early afternoon and were welcomed by Jean Gavin from The Caley and Simon Jones from the National Trust Scotland. Simon gave a talk to the graduates about the wonderful Greenbank Garden explaining its history and development through the years. Jean and Simon then presented the pin badges and the graduates were photographed getting the award. Following the ceremony, there was a buffet lunch and an opportunity for catching up with old friends. A tour of the Garden completed the visit. The graduates thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon and Help Yourself Grow plans to do something similar for next year’s graduates also.
