Volunteering

Would you like to do volunteering to meet new people and learn new skills?

If so, you may be interested in our volunteering opportunities at Help Yourself Grow.

Help Yourself Grow have a number of volunteers who support the delivery of the Help Yourself Grow programme. From time to time, we look to recruit new volunteers.

The roles range from peer support (gardening), peer support (cooking) assistant, volunteer gardener to assistant co trainer. For some of the roles experience is not necessary, and a passion for gardening or cooking is only what is required! The ideal volunteer is friendly, likes to help others and is dependable. Expenses are paid and there are opportunities to develop through funded training courses.

If you would like to know if opportunities are available and find out a bit more about them, please contact Gail Cochrane at gailcochrane@fair-deal.org, call 0141 634 4996, or use the contact form on the Contact Us page on this website.
