The Help Yourself Grow gardening trainees took part in the “Giving an hour for Castlemilk” community event.The group joined people from the local community to litter pick in the area surrounding the Jeely Training Garden.
A group of Help Yourself Grow volunteers went to The Experience where they had lunch, took part in go-karting and finished off with some laser tag. Much fun was had by all as the volunteers enjoyed a great day out as a reward for all their hard work.
We held our official graduation ceremony for the 2018 Help Yourself Grow trainees on July 6th 2018, at Castlemilk Stables on Machrie Drive. Local MP Stewart McDonald was in attendance to give the now graduates their awards, and some of the Help Yourself Grow trainers and volunteers gave speeches at the ceremony. A massive CONGRATULATIONS are in order to all
